Ekene is the name of our dish soap because it means “GRATITUDE” in Igbo.

When you have meal, do you take a moment to reflect on everything that went into that preparation? You or a loved ones physical hands preparing that meal, the hands of the migrant workers who picked that produce from Queen Mother Earth who provided it , the butcher who shows up to work at 4 AM, the underpaid workers who had to package that food, the Farmers who start before the sun rises, etc.

Next time you sit down and enjoy something delicious take a second when you cleanse your plate to reflect on Gratitude.
